The film you’ll see

It has never been released.

In 1982, after a season of falling ratings, the children’s programme Mrs. Ladadee was cancelled. On the final episode, live in front of a studio audience, the elderly host poisoned every child on the show.

Starring The Nun from The Conjuring — Bonnie Aarons — as Mrs. Ladadee
with Alex Essoe · Eileen Dietz · Kelli Maroney

It plays across the wall for the whole evening, months before anyone else sees it. You will see it before critics do.

What happens

You are not an audience.
You are the contestants.

You'll be handed a number at the door. A woman in a pink pinafore takes your coat and asks your name, then writes it down — even though she already said it when you walked in.

Dinner is four courses and all of it is pink. The popcorn, the soup, the pasta, the ice cream. Ask why and you'll be told it's your favourite. She'll be gone before you can answer.

Somewhere in the first ten minutes the entire room ends up singing a song none of you knew an hour ago. That part is deliberate. It has to happen early, so that it can happen again later.

Then the film cuts out mid-sentence, and the house lights don't come up.

We'd rather not tell you the rest.

Ninety minutes. Four courses. No bow.
Who is serving you

The past contestants.

Every woman in that room won the programme once. She was picked out of an audience, given a number, taken by the hand and walked off camera into the house lights.

Nobody saw her again.

She takes your coat now. She pours your drink and brings every course. She has a contestant number of her own, and it is older than yours.

Five of them, still in the uniform they were photographed in.
In character from the door to the lights.

They are bubbly for the first forty minutes — genuinely, unnervingly bubbly. They know your name, they refill your glass, they call you sweetheart. Then one of them stops mid-sentence and doesn't start again.

What you will eat

Four courses.
All of it is pink.

Not a garnish, not a theme — the whole table. This is what she fed them on the programme, and it is what you are getting.

The practical part

Is dinner really included?Yes — four courses and a Lemon Drop each, served through the show by the cast. One price covers two people entirely, no add-ons.
Is there a bar?Yes. Every venue holds its own liquor licence and its bar is open before and through dinner. Your Lemon Drop is included — anything after it is separate.
Is this really an advance screening?Yes. The complete feature, playing through the evening, months before release. You'll see it before critics do.
How scary is it?It's a horror show and it's meant to frighten you. Nobody touches you and nothing chases you.
Is there an age limit?21 and over. A cocktail is included in every ticket and the venue bar is open all night. Bring ID — everyone is carded, and everyone signs a waiver at the door.
Dietary requirements?Tell us at checkout. Vegetarian is standard and we can work around allergies with notice.
What if our plans change? All sales are final — but transfer your table to anyone, free, any time. Just reply to your confirmation with their name.
What should we wear?Whatever you'd wear to dinner. Some guests dress for 1982. Nobody is required to.
